Hey everyone just a thought that a lot of Whovians across the Whoniverse have probably been thinking here but i am not that bright at maths but Peter Capaldi isn't the 12th doctor technically speaking he is the 13th with the arrival of John Hurt's Doctor
1st - William Hartnell 2nd - Parick Troughton 3rd - John Pertwee 4th - Tom Baker 5th - Peter Davison 6th - Colin Baker 7th - Sylvester McCoy 8th - Paul Mcgann 9th - John Hurt 10th - Christopher Eccleston 11th - David Tennant 12th - Matt Smith 13th - Peter Capaldi
But the problem lies thus, In the 1996 doctor Who Paul McGann film its is stated that a Timelord only has 13 LIVES!!!!
What are your thoughts on how Mr Moffett is going to get his ass out of this one???

Well since Moffat has said that he is sticking to the 13 regens law it could be a problem. My personal theory is that when in the last series River gave all her remaining regenerations to heal him so theoretically she had only used 3 (Nine left), she used 1 to heal him (Eight) so the Doctor should have eight more regenerations meaning a new total of 20 regens so 21 lives not 13 (Eight more) ... if that made any sense.
Plus I have also heard people speculating that as the Timelords could previously grant new regenerations to people (they did so with the Master) they may have reset the regeneration limit on all Time Lords at the start of the war meaning 9 would now be 1 so he will have Eight remaining
